THE ASUS THRIFT STORE
Provides much-needed items for the underprivileged and provides employment for those in recovery. You may drop off or we will pick up usable items that will offer hope to people who are rebounding from homelessness, suffering with HIV/AIDS, recovering from addictions, experiencing domestic violence (battered women and children) as well as many other dire circumstances. We can also assist you in being successful with your yard sales, garage sales, estate sales and moving sales. Any items you do not sell may be donated to help persons in need. WE PROVIDE A PICK-UP SERVICE FREE OF CHARGE. Your contributions are tax deductible, and our driver will issue you a receipt when we pick up your generous contributions.  We accept  furniture, appliances, clothing, house wares, technological devices, artwork, exercise equipment, televisions, linen, building materials/ supplies—as well as ANY OTHER USABLE ITEMS.
 
THE ASUS MEN'S HOME
Provides a clean, well-furnished “home-like” environment free of drugs, alcohol and  turmoil. Residents are required to attend 12-Step meetings or attend a recovery out-patient program. Spiritual growth is encouraged as well as participation in matters affecting the welfare of the community. Professional drug counseling is offered at these homes. The homes are located in Atlanta GA.  and East Point, GA
 
We provide a clean, nicely-furnished and well maintained home in which residents can take pride. Bedrooms (1 Man per room), Food, Laundry and cooking facilities and supplies; maintenance supplies, furnishings, including linens and all homes are near public transportation
 
 
THE ASUS COUNSELING SERVICES
Provides free counseling services for individuals with substance abuse addictions. Our specific reference manual is the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous (pages 1-164).  The basic outline is a 12-step plan:  Step 1 is identification of the problem, Step 2 is identification of the solution and Steps 3-12 represent the plan of action. Counseling Services also include credit and debt counseling, Nutritional and education counseling
 
THE ASUS CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Provides psycho-social assessment, a urine drug screen, literacy and educational needs assessment and a SASI (substance Abuse Subtle Screening Instrument). Referrals include a PPD if needed, medical services, dental services, primary treatment programs and an identification card acquisition. ASUS also provides assistance in applying for available social services and coordination with probation/paro.le
 
THE ASBS REFERRAL SERVICES
Provides referral services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
 
THE ASBS EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Provides on-the-job training (in the thrift store), resume preperation, work ethics / job survival skills , job referrals, placement services and computer training
